GIGI HADID WILL NO LONGER WALK IN THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW AFTER BUDDHA IMPRESSION

Gigi Hadid has pulled out of the Victoria's Secret fashion show in Shanghai.

Some have speculated it was decided she shouldn't go after she offended many when she squinted her eyes in an attempt to impersonate the Buddha.





On Thursday, Gigi Hadid announced via her Twitter that she will no longer appear in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

I’m so bummed I won’t be able to make it to China this year. Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can't wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can't wait for next year! :) x

Hadid didn't offer an explanation for her absence, but there is speculation that she is among the models affected by the Chinese visa issue; Julia Belyakova, Kate Grigorieva and Irina Sharipova from Russia, as well as Dasha Khlystun from Ukraine were all denied the requisite visa.
