Doing the Right Thing Is Free

>> Sunday, August 02, 2026

While I was busy scrolling on my phone, my inner gossip lover was, of course, listening to everything happening around me. 😂 I overheard the driver telling an elderly lady that the fare from the airport to Taguig would be around ₱1,600, and I was honestly shocked. The lady looked surprised too because it was so expensive. She asked the driver if he could wait for two minutes while she waited for her daughter to reply so she could book a ride for her. Unfortunately, there was still no response. The driver told her he would just wait for her on the side.

But I swear, the driver kept coming back to her. It felt like he was rushing her or putting pressure on her to make a decision. Since we were sitting right next to each other, I waited for the right moment. As soon as the driver turned away, I quietly asked the lady where exactly her drop-off point was so I could check the fare on Grab.

Girl... it was only ₱324. 😭😭

The moment she saw the fare, she immediately asked me to book the ride for her because she was worried the driver might get upset if he saw me helping her. Thankfully, when the driver came back, she simply told him that her daughter had already booked her a ride.

The funny part was that before we found the chance to talk, the driver kept looking at me as if he was silently saying, "Don't interfere." 😭 Well... I did care, and I did interfere. I was the one who booked the ride for her. 😭😂

The lady and I were both so nervous while we were talking because we thought the driver might get angry. 😭😆 We ended up whispering to each other the whole time.

I know life is hard, and gas is definitely expensive. But having good intentions and doing the right thing doesn't cost a thing.

Loved Beyond Measure

>> Friday, July 31, 2026

We all want to be loved and seen for who we are not for the filtered version, not for what we can offer, but for our truest, most unguarded selves.

In a world that constantly asks us to perform, to earn approval, and to prove our worth, that kind of love feels rare. That's why I invite you to pause today and simply bask in God's love.

His love doesn't flicker depending on your mood, your productivity, or your perfection. It just is steady, present, and already poured out for you.

When you let yourself rest in that love, even for a few quiet moments, something begins to soften and heal inside of you. You stop striving to be enough, because in His eyes, you already are deeply prized.

That is what Agape really is. Agape love is not born because the object of love has earned it or achieved something impressive.

It is born out of the heart of the lover because of the preciousness it chooses to see in the beloved. It has the idea of prizing, treasuring, and cherishing something as infinitely valuable.

It has nothing to do with the merit, beauty, or performance of the one being loved, and everything to do with the generous nature of the One who loves.

God doesn't love you because you are worthy; you are worthy because God loves you. And when that truth settles in your heart, it can't stay contained.

It naturally begins to flow outward  into your words, your patience, your forgiveness, and the way you see others, even those who are difficult to love.

Today, let yourself be seen by Him first, so you can then be someone who truly sees others.

From Wailing to Dancing

>> Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Just as a dancer flourishes when moving in harmony with the music, we flourish when we live in the presence of God.

His presence fills our hearts with peace, purpose, and lasting joy that nothing in this world can replace.

Yet sin quietly draws our attention away from Him, causing us to lose the rhythm of our relationship with our Creator.

Instead of walking in step with God, we become burdened by guilt, fear, and confusion.

The joy we once experienced begins to fade because our focus has shifted from God to ourselves and our desires.

Thankfully, God does not abandon us when we wander.

He lovingly calls us back, inviting us to repent and return to Him with humble hearts.

Repentance is not merely feeling sorry for our sins; it is turning away from them and choosing once again to walk closely with the Lord.

When we do, we rediscover the hope, peace, and joy that only He can give.

King David experienced this transformation personally, declaring, “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy” (Psalm 30:11).

His testimony reminds us that God's mercy is greater than our failures and that He delights in restoring broken hearts.

No matter how far we have drifted, the Lord is always ready to welcome us back with grace.

As we surrender our lives to Him each day, we find ourselves once again dancing to the rhythm of His love, for God is indeed the true Lord of the dance.

Beloved, Accepted, Forever His

>> Monday, July 27, 2026

Christ died for you and for me; the substitute took our place. He willingly carried the punishment that we deserved so that we could receive forgiveness, grace, and a restored relationship with God. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we are no longer defined by our failures, our past mistakes, or the battles we have faced. We are no longer simply survivors who barely made it through the storms of life. We have been transformed into beloved sons and daughters of God, chosen and accepted by His unfailing love.

Because of Christ’s victory, we can walk with confidence knowing that we are not alone in our struggles. The same God who rescued us is the One who strengthens us, guides us, and gives us hope for the future. We have been given a new identity—not as defeated people, but as children of the King. Every wound, every hardship, and every moment of suffering can be redeemed by His grace and used for His greater purpose.

Our lives are now a testimony of His mercy and power. We can face each day with faith, knowing that Christ’s sacrifice has already secured our victory. We are loved, forgiven, and called to live as reflections of His goodness in this world. The cross reminds us that we are worth fighting for, and through Jesus, we have found not only survival but true life, belonging, and eternal hope.

Peace Beyond Striving

>> Saturday, July 25, 2026

Many voices in this world urge us to chase success, wealth, recognition, and happiness by relying solely on our own strength.

They tell us that if we work harder, push further, and hold tightly to our ambitions, we will finally find the life we have always wanted.

Yet God's Word reveals a different path.

The abundant life He promises is not something we can force into existence through human effort alone.

It is a gift that we receive as we surrender our hearts and lives to Him.

When we yield to the Holy Spirit, He transforms our desires so that they align with God's perfect will.

Instead of anxiously striving to secure every blessing on our own terms, we learn to trust that God knows exactly what we need and when we need it.

Walking with the Holy Spirit brings a peace that striving can never produce because our confidence rests in God's faithfulness rather than our own abilities.

As we faithfully follow His leading each day, He shapes our character, strengthens our faith, and opens doors according to His perfect timing.

True joy and lasting fulfillment are found not in desperately grasping for what we want, but in faithfully walking with the One who lovingly provides everything we truly need.

When we surrender control and allow the Holy Spirit to lead our steps, we discover that God's way is always better, His timing is always perfect, and His blessings are far greater than anything we could have achieved by our own strength.
