When God Is Writing Your Story

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. 

Even when we cannot understand what is happening, we can trust that God is working behind the scenes for our good. 

Just as “the Lord was with Joseph,” God is also with us through every season of our lives. 

Joseph faced betrayal, hardship, loneliness, and injustice, yet God never abandoned him. 

What looked like a painful and hopeless situation was ultimately used by God for a greater purpose. 

In the same way, our difficult seasons do not mean that God has forgotten us. 

His presence remains with us even when we cannot feel it or see the way forward. 

We can hold firmly to His promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us. 

That is why we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.”

We do not have to face tomorrow in fear because our God goes before us and walks beside us. 

When people disappoint us, God remains faithful. 

When doors close, He can open another path according to His perfect purpose. 

When we feel weak, He can give us strength to keep going. 

So let us continue to trust Him, pray with faith, and believe that even our struggles can become part of a greater testimony.

God is not finished with our story, and whatever we are facing today, we can rest in the assurance that He is with us and is working all things together for our good.

When God Answers Your Siomai Prayer

Yesterday, I bought a pack of SkyFlakes from the store. I had ₱10 with me, and it only cost ₱8, so I got ₱2 in change.

An elderly woman behind me was buying coffee, but she was short by ₱2. She told the storekeeper that she would just come back later.

I looked at my ₱2 and thought, “Maybe this is meant for her.” Haha.

Then I remembered that she lives almost directly across from us because Riam always greets her. It’s a bit far for her to walk, especially since she walks slowly now and she’s already in her 60s.

So I said, “Nay, here’s ₱2.”

The smile she gave me was so beautiful. 🙂

On my way home, I was thinking about what to cook. I didn’t have any budget left, but I still had some tilapia in the fridge. The thing is, I’d already been eating tilapia for two days, so this would be the third day. Hahaha.

I had been hospitalized, so money has been really tight. I just have to make sure the kids’ needs are covered first.

Then, while I was holding my phone, I came across a post that said, “Please, if you could spare anything at all, even just a little, for food.”

So I had to give myself a reality check:

“Here you are, worrying because you don’t have money for food, but at least you still have tilapia in the fridge—even if you have to eat it three days in a row!” 🤣

I kept scrolling and came across someone selling siomai. I stared at it because it looked so delicious. Then I said, “Lord, I want some siomai.” 😆

Tonight, at around 6:00 PM, someone knocked on our gate. When I looked outside, it was Nanay. When I opened the gate, she was holding a pack of siomai. 🥺

She said to me, “Here, child. Thank you.”

The siomai was still hot, but there was no soy sauce. Hahaha, just kidding. 😂

As I ate it, I started crying. My kids were wondering what was wrong with me.

I realized something:

It only took ₱2 to be kind, but I received ten pieces of siomai in return. 🥺❤️

It’s true what they say—when you make a wish, you have to be specific! I should’ve said, “Lord, I want siomai with soy sauce and a little bit of spice.” 🤣

Thank You, Lord. It felt like You turned Nanay into my personal GrabFood delivery rider. 😂❤️

God sees every good thing we do, even the things we think are insignificant.

And sometimes, the blessing doesn’t come back in the same form. You give money, but you receive food. You give help, but you receive encouragement. You give a little, but God reminds you that you are not forgotten or forgotten about.

So if you have something to give today—even something small—give it with a sincere heart.

Because you never know…

Your ₱2 might be someone else’s answered prayer, while their kindness might become God’s way of answering yours. ❤️

His Grace Makes the Impossible Possible

Let’s give God the glory when He works through us to do things we cannot do on our own.

There are moments when we accomplish something that feels far beyond our own strength, wisdom, or ability.

In those moments, let us remember that every good gift and every opportunity comes from God.

He gives us strength when we feel weak, wisdom when we do not know what to do, and courage when we are afraid.

Sometimes, God chooses to work through our hands, our words, and our actions to accomplish His purpose.

What may seem impossible to us is never impossible for Him.
Instead of taking all the credit, let us humbly acknowledge that God was with us every step of the way.

When He opens a door, gives us an answer, or helps us overcome an obstacle, let our hearts be filled with gratitude.

Our abilities are gifts, and we can use them to honor Him and bless others.

May we never forget the One who gave us the strength to keep going when we wanted to give up.

Whatever we achieve, may we point the glory back to God, knowing that without Him, we can do nothing of lasting value.

Let our lives become a testimony of His faithfulness, showing others what God can do through a willing and humble heart.

To God be all the glory, for He can accomplish through us what we could never accomplish by ourselves.

A Simple Miracle at Lunch

I’m truly amazed by how God works!

I brought rice for lunch but had no viand because I honestly didn’t have any money. I messaged my husband, my siblings, and my father, hoping someone could send me a little money to buy food. Lunch break came, and not one of them had replied.

While I was waiting, one of my coworkers came over and asked if we had already eaten. I was the only one in our room who hadn’t eaten yet. Then, to my surprise, she offered me her meal because she said it was too sour for her taste. Of course, I gratefully accepted.

The amazing part is that she had no idea I didn’t have any food to go with my rice or that I was waiting for help. We’re not even close, yet she chose to give it to me.

Thank You, Lord. You always provide in the most unexpected ways. I’m so grateful that You never fail to take care of me. ❤️🙏

Sometimes God answers our prayers in ways we never expect. When every door seemed closed and no one responded, He used an unexpected person to provide exactly what was needed. This reminds us that God's provision is always on time, even if it doesn't come through the people or circumstances we anticipate. His care is personal, His timing is perfect, and His love is evident even in the smallest acts of kindness. Moments like these strengthen our faith and remind us to trust Him completely, knowing that He will never fail to provide for His children.

The Lord Watches Over You

Angels are God's faithful servants, sent to carry out His will and care for His people. 

The Bible tells us that angels are "ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation" (Hebrews 1:14). 

They are God's messengers, working according to His perfect plan to guide, protect, strengthen, and help believers. 

Although we may not always see their presence, God can use them in countless ways beyond our understanding. 

Throughout Scripture, angels encouraged God's people, delivered important messages, protected them from danger, and rejoiced over God's work of salvation. 

Their ministry reminds us that we are never truly alone because the Lord is always watching over His children. 

Every act of angelic service points us back to God's unfailing love, wisdom, and care. 

Rather than placing our trust in angels themselves, we should worship the God who lovingly sends them according to His purpose. 

Knowing that God has countless ways of protecting and caring for us gives us confidence to face each day with faith instead of fear. 

Just as the angels continually worship and glorify the Lord, may our hearts also be filled with gratitude, praise, and trust in the One who faithfully watches over us every moment of our lives.
