Kapamilya love team Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are up to top-bill Mikhail Red’s zombie film entitled “Block Z” under Star Cinema. "Block Z," as teased by Red, is about a group trapped inside a university that has been quarantined due to a mysterious infection. This ragtag mix now have to navigate their way out using whatever makeshift weapons and supplies they can find.
Other casts that will join JoshLia are Ian Veneracion, Ina Raymundo, Maris Racal, Yves Flores, Dimples Romana, McCoy De Leon, and among others. The shooting of the film will be in a certain university in Metro Manila and there is yet no target date for the releasing of the film as Red does not want to rush it.
