Miranda claimed that the hard drive of his computer was stolen, which resulted in the release of their video. He has already asked the National Bureau of Investigation to find out who uploaded the clip online.




Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano part ways
Early this year, actress Sunshine Cruz announced that she has decided to live apart from her husband, actor Cesar Montano, after he was romantically linked to starlet Krista Miller.
In August, Cruz filed a case against Montano for allegedly violating Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act.
Cruz even claimed that Montano raped her on Mother's Day and later accused the actor of failing to return their three daughters to her.
A month later, the estranged couple agreed to share custody of their children.




Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto in word war
Inday Barretto confirmed last May that her daughter, actress Claudine Barretto, is no longer living with her husband, actor Raymart Santiago.
Claudine later claimed that Santiago was hurting her, but the actor denied the allegations and faced his wife in court for the custody of their children.
The word war eventually led to other allegations: Santiago accused Claudine of using drugs, while the actress called her husband a wife-beater.




Anne Curtis slapping incident at a bar
Anne Curtis was reported to have caused a scene at a bar in Taguig in November, slapping fellow Kapamilya star John Lloyd Cruz and two others.
Curtis was also said to have pointed a finger at model-host Phoemela Barranda as she screamed: "I can buy you, your friends and this club!" Barranda has since clarified that Curtis never made such a statement.
The actress eventually apologized on Twitter for her actions.





Freddie Aguilar marries 16-year-old girl
Singer Freddie Aguilar snatched the limelight last October when he admitted being in romantic relationship with a 16-year-old girl.
The 60-year-old singer eventually tied the knot with his teen girlfriend in Muslim rites a month later.
Critics say Aguilar violated the law for being in a relationship with a minor, with one filing qualified seduction charges against him.
The "Anak" hitmaker, meanwhile, said he is ready to face the charges.




Ai Ai delas Alas accuses husband of physical abuse
Less than a month after they got married, comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas confirmed her split with Jed Salang, claiming that she was physically abused by her husband.
The two were married in Las Vegas last April.
Delas Alas and Salang have taken the issue to court.

Willie Revillame's show in TV5 goes off air
After only seven months on air, curtains closed for Willie Revillame's controversy-fraught noontime program, "Wowowillie."
A month later, Revillame said he is planning to revive his self-produced variety show, preferable on a network that has wide viewership, sometime in 2014.
Last September, Revillame aired his frustration about the limited viewership of his program on TV5.




Nikki Gil, Billy Crawford call it quits
Billy Crawford surprised the public last July when he confirmed his breakup with Nikki Gil, his girlfriend of four-and-a-half years.
Crawford denied rumors claiming that there was a "third party" involved in the split, saying that "it all boils down to me."
Actress Andi Eigenmann and "It's Showtime" host Coleen Garcia have been linked to Crawford shortly after the breakup, but the two also denied the rumors.
Gil, meanwhile, said she can be "civil" with Crawford, although she admitted that she cannot be friends with the singer-host.
Gil also regrets that her relationship with Crawford lasted five years, saying she chose several times to ignore "warnings" of the singer's supposed indiscretions.
While she still did not specify the cause of their breakup in July, the 26-year-old actress brought up instances when she had been suspicious of Crawford's behavior during the relationship.




Angel, Phil break up
Actress Angel Locsin confirmed last October that she and Azkals player Phil Younghusband have called it quits.
Locsin said the decision was mutual, but refused to give further details.
Rumors linking them to fellow celebrities surfaced -- Locsin with TV host Luis Manzano, and Younghusband with actress KC Concepcion.
The two, however, denied these rumors.





Ex-child star Serena Dalrymple surfaces
Former child star Serena Dalrymple shared how her life is going in an interview with ABS-CBNnews.com.
The 23-year-old is currently based in London, where she is taking up postgraduate studies. She finished college in De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, where she took up a business administration degree.
Asked if she has plans to return to the Philippines soon, she said: "Definitely for a vacation. Not sure when exactly, though. Not sure where I want to live yet, but I'm going back to America after London."
