Angel Locsin auctions car for Typhoon Yolanda Victims

Actress Angel Locsin, who has been very busy supporting the Philippine Red Cross in relief operations, is auctioning her car to raise money for victims of super typhoon "Yolanda" (international name Haiyan).

Tina Monzon-Palma, the program director of ABS-CBN Foundation's Sagip Kapamilya, said Locsin gave her 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle last Sunday to their organization for the auction.

"Chevrolet Chevelle. Opo, dinala niya dito last Sunday ang car, ipinakita niya sa atin at sinabi niya na, 'para sa inyo 'yan, sa Sagip Kapamilya.'

"Nag-usap-usap lang kami ng aming mga kaibigan para i-explain sa kanya ang procedure ng auction because she has to understand that everybody is making an offer. Hindi ko pa sinasabi kung sino ang may-ari. Pero ganito pala 'yan, 'yung mga vintage car aficionados, alam nila who owns a vintage car, so noong nilagay ni Angel sa Facebook niya 'yung kotse niya, alam nila kung sino ang may-ari, so nagtatanong-tanong na," Monzon-Palma said.

"Secret pa sana 'yon eh...I would have wanted na she will say it, she would be the one. Nandito siya, she was here Sunday," she added.
