CARRIE FISHER looked fit and healthy as she signed autographs and posed for photos with fans the evening before she suffered a cardiac arrest.
The 60-year-old actress stepped out for dinner at London's Chiltern Firehouse and didn't hesitate to make time for her legions of devoted followers before hitting the celebrity hotspot.
She wrapped up in a blue knitted cardigan and black sweater, though gave the look a superstar finish with bejewelled cat-eye glasses and earrings.
Carrie is thought to be "out of emergency" after going into cardiac arrest on a flight from the British capital to Los Angeles yesterday.
After being rushed to UCLA Medical Centre upon landing, the Star Wars stalwart is thought to be "out of emergency" and in a stable condition.
It's claimed she has already been visited by her beloved French bulldog, Gary, and her daughter Billie Lourd has remained by her bedside.
According to TMZ, the actress, who is believed to have been travelling with her pooch, suffered a medical emergency 15 minutes before her flight was due to land in LA.
An emergency technician is said to have been sitting at the back of the plane and went down to first class to administer life-saving procedures to the star.
The plane landed just before midday and paramedics allegedly rushed her to a nearby hospital straight away.
Carrie "was in a lot of distress on the flight", the Los Angeles Times reported.
Her cardiac arrest comes amid the star's relentless promotion of new book The Princess Diarist, which goes into detail about her secret affair with Harrison Ford.
Fisher is considered by many to be a member of Hollywood royalty — her parents are Reynolds and the late singer Eddie Fisher.
Catapulted to stardom when the original "Star Wars" was released in 1977, Fisher reprised the role as the leader of a galactic rebellion in three sequels, including last year's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
