Wears 70 Items Of Clothing To Avoid Baggage Fees

>> Friday, December 21, 2012

According to an article in China's Guangzhou Daily, a man flying from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China to Nairobi, Kenya was dismayed when ticket agents said his bags exceeded the allowed weight limit and that he needs to pay an extra charge for it. Instead of paying, he simply took out more than 60 shirts and nine pairs of jeans and decided to wear them to avoid the extra charges.

He then moved on to board his flight to Nairobi, Kenya, but he was stopped by a metal detector. That was when he had to undergo a full body search.

Upon putting on all the extra clothing, it appears as if he forgot to remove items such as thumb drives, batteries, and electronic device chargers from his multitude of pockets.
Witnesses say he wound up looking like a sumo wrestler!
