Park Soo Jin apologizes for hospital and incubator issue



Recently, a netizen, who claimed to have been placed in the same intensive care nursery as Park Soo Jin back in October, revealed the actress broke the rules and received special treatment such as inviting guests beyond the permitted visits allowed, bringing in food, and cutting in line for the incubator.

Netizens criticized Park Soo Jin and her husband Bae Yong Joon for using their celebrity status to receive special treatment.

In response, Park Soo Jin spoke up via Instagram on November 27 and clarified misunderstandings, as well as apologized for her wrongdoings.

She admitted to inviting her parents into the intensive care nursery and explained her manager brought in food only to the permitted area. She stated, "It's true my parents were with me. It was my first time giving birth and I lacked clear judgment because the baby came out earlier than expected. I wasn't able to make a proper judgment. Regarding this, I'm deeply reflecting on it. I am sincerely reflecting and also apologize for acting without caution as a mother with the pain of a premature baby."

Lastly, she addressed the rumors about the incubator, and stated, "The rumors on the web about the incubator and the order of admittance to the hospital are completely false."

Despite the apology, netizens are continuing to criticize the celebrity couple, commenting, "If you want to apologize then just apologize. Don't give excuses", "You're not the only one who gave birth for the first time", "Celebrities think they're all that", "But still, it's not permitted but it was allowed for Park Soo Jin because she's a celebrity..."
