RABBITLAND CAFE HONG KONG
The cafe is tucked away on the third floor of a high-rise building in the busy commercial district of Causeway Bay. The cafe says it gives people who have no room to keep a pet in space-starved Hong Kong the chance to bond with the fluffy animals. These rabbits are fun to play with but are not up for adoption.

Head to The Forest of Owl Cafe in the Akihabara district of Tokyo, Here you can see and touch owls and maybe grab a soft drink afterwards.




THE DOG CAFE, LOS ANGELES
Los Angeles' The Dog Cafe has rescue dogs that you can pet and play with - and even adopt! Reservations are highly recommended at the Dog Cafe.




DOG HEART CAFE, TOKYO
At the Dog Heart Cafe in Tokyo, not only can you hang out and love the dogs but you can "rent" one as well and take it out for some exercise in nearby Yoyogi Park.




CRAZY CAT CAFÉ, MILAN, ITALY
Owned by Alba Galtieri and Marco Centonza, it houses six adopted cats. Designed for the comfort of cats, the café features scratchers, separate litter rooms, and relaxation spots. The animals will also be monitored by a veterinarian and a behaviorist.




LADY DINAH'S CAT EMPORIUM, LONDON
This café in Shoreditch offers its customers tea, sandwiches, cake and scones in the company of cats! Visitors pay a cover charge of around US $8 for couple of hours of feline company. The venue has been carefully designed to cater feline's emotional and physical needs.

Enjoy a coffee and settle in to hang with some of the kitties. Reservations are required.




CAFÉ NEKO, VIENNA, AUSTRIA
Visitors get to sip coffee with the hosts settling on their laps or purring under the chair.
Neko means cat in Japanese. The café, opened by Vienna resident Takako Ishimitsu, has feline residents that come from local animal shelters.

It houses two cats, which the visitors can pet while enjoying tea and cake.

Opened in December 2013, the café is home to 13 cats that were either abandoned or rescued from the streets. Customers can enjoy a cup of coffee while they mingle with the feline inhabitants.




LA GATOTECA IN MADRID, SPAIN
The café is the first-of-its-kind in Madrid. It is currently home to around 10 different cats and if a customer is particularly taken with one of the furry friends, they can adopt it.
