A Child's Lesson in Integrity

I smiled... but I was deeply touched too. 🥹
A little child was buying a pack of biscuits but was ₱5 short.
So I quietly paid the difference.
I thought that was the end of it.
The next day, the child ran after me and handed me the ₱5 with a bright smile.
Then the child said, "Miss, I don't want to owe anyone."
It made me stop and think...
Sometimes, true wealth isn't measured by how much money we have. Some people may have very little, yet they possess an abundance of integrity, honesty, and self-respect.
This little act reminds us that character is far more valuable than possessions. Integrity doesn't depend on age or financial status—it begins in the heart. May we never become so focused on what people have that we overlook the values they carry. A heart that chooses honesty, gratitude, and dignity is richer than any amount of money.
