Park Hyung-sik To Enlists on Military Service This Year




Park Hyung Sik had applied to serve in the military police department of the Capital Defense Command.
According to the report, an industry insider claimed, “Park Hyung Sik will be going in for his second-round
interview on [April 9]. If he is accepted, he will enlist on June 10.”

Park Hyung Sik’s agency responded by confirming, “If [Park Hyung Sik] is accepted to the military police department,
he will carry out his military service at the Capital Defense Command.”

The agency also stated, “If he is not accepted, he is planning to enlist as an active-duty soldier at the end of May.”

Park Hyung Sik had previously been praised for adjusting to military life well on MBC’s “Real Men,” and he said, “I didn’t
know this, but military life suits me pretty well.” He also joked, “Since I have to go eventually, I wanted to apply to
the division I received praise in.”

He also had a message for fans as he said, “I’ll be healthy and do well in the army. Please don’t worry about me, and
thank you for always supporting me.”

Although Park Hyung Sik is currently preparing for his upcoming military enlistment, he plans to fully take part in all
of the promotions for his first feature film, “Jurors,” which is scheduled to hit theaters on May 16.

The film is based on true events. It tells the tell the story of South Korea's first trial by jury, which took place in
2008.

The Strong Girl Bong Soon actor plays the role of one of the eights jurors in the trial, Kwon Nam Woo.
He is a young entrepreneur who has a great sense of righteousness.
