Watch Kim Jonghyun's last video saying goodbye to SHINee fans
The tragic death of Korean popstar Jonghyun has left millions of fans devastated, after he took his own life at the age of 27.
It was confirmed by Gangnam Police that Jonghyun's older sister was concerned for the singer and called officers to his rented apartment because she thought he might be suicidal.
Korean media reported that his sister had received worrying texts from Jonghyun begging her to 'let him go'.
The texts, which have been translated to English, reportedly read: "It's been really hard up until now. Send me off please.
"Tell everyone I've suffered. This is my last greeting."

He had also reportedly sent a suicide letter to his friend Jang Hee Yeon, the lead singer of South Korean band Dear Cloud, who is better known as her stage name Nine9.
According to reports, she received it days before Jonghyun's solo concert on December 9 and immediately let her agency know the contents so they could get him help.
Nine9 last night shared the heartbreaking letter on social media, according to Jonghyun's final wish.
In it, he talked desperately about his self-loathing and said he was "worthless" and "to blame" for his feelings.
