Kangin of Super Junior caught for drunk driving

SM Entertainment’s boy band Super Junior’s Kangin is currently under investigation for driving under influence the police said Tuesday.
The star allegedly collided with a street lamp in Gangnam-gu around 2 a.m. on Tuesday while driving a rented Mercedes-Benz vehicle. No one was injured.
Kangin allegedly fled the scene although he turned himself into police nine hours later. He had a blood-alcohol level of 0.05 percent.
After being further investigated by the police, Kangin admitted to the charge of drunk driving leading to suspension of his driver’s license. His agency, SM Entertainment released a statement indicating the singer will be banned from attending future performances and activities as entertainer.
"I remember ramming something but didn't know it was a street lamp," Kangin told police.
This is the Super Junior member’s second DUI incident. He faced similar charges in 2009.
